Vaya cara se me ha quedado cuando he terminado de ver las nominaciones de los Oscars. No Fassbender? No Tintin? No podía creerlo y la última bofetada ha sido escuchar por parte de la radiante Jennifer Lawrence como Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close era nominada a mejor película. No he podido verla aún, pero el clamor popular era de desconcierto y confusión por esta aparición en las nominaciones, y sobre todo, las sonadas ausencias.
Las nominaciones de los Oscars han terminado por confirmar a Drive como una de las grandes ignoradas. Ni siquiera Albert Brooks como mejor actor de reparto ha resultado nominado. En su contrapunto, "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close". Dos de los hombres del año: Ryan Gosling y Michael Fassbender han visto como su año no era recompensado. De Gosling me lo esperaba porque la competencia era durísima, pero lo de Fassbender me ha dejado helado, y es que lo situaba como uno de los grandes aspirantes al Oscar por su interpretación en Shame. Tilda Swinton por "We need to talk about Kevin" también se ha visto desplazada como Mejor Actriz en favor de Rooney Mara, al igual que DiCaprio como Mejor Actor. La otra gran decepción ha sido ver como "Las Aventuras de Tintín" no resultaba nominada a Mejor Película de Animación. A mi que me lo expliquen, no entiendo nada...
Presumo una noche teñida de blanco y negro, y por tanto una victoriosa "The Artist", que ha copado las nominaciones con 10 candidaturas, sólo siendo superada por Hugo, con 11. Moneyball con 6, la tercera con más nominaciones.
P.D. Kirsten Dunst y Melancholia, otras que ya habían sido ignoradas en premios anteriores al igual que Drive y que en los Oscars también lo han sido.
